Loudoun Soccer Summer Camps offer your player players the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, and above all, HAVE FUN! Our programs and our counselors follow our Core Values of Fun, Integrity, Fairness, Teamwork and Stewardship, using a curriculum that taps into players’ passion for the game.

For Summer 2023, Loudoun Soccer Rec offers summer camps at the  locations, dates and times listed below. Please click on the week you to link directly to our registration page. Registrations for Loudoun Soccer Park are completed directly with Loudoun Soccer;  all other locations are registered via Loudoun County Parks & Rec's WEBTRAC system.

Soccer Tots (Ages 3-4; 9a-11a) is available only at LSP on the weeks indicated; all other weeks are for ages 5 and up.

*Meal plans are available at an additional fee and can be added during the registration process (only available at the Loudoun Soccer Park location).

  • Soccer shoes (including indoor shoes)

  • Packed lunch/snack (meal plans available at Loudoun Soccer Park only)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen


REGISTRATION:
Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Each session is capped,  so individuals interested in participating should enroll as early as possible.  Registration can be completed by selecting "Loudoun Soccer Rec Summer Camp 2023"  during registration.

About Kick 'N Code Summer Camp 

Our popular Kick 'N Code Full Day Summer Camp returns for 2023! Held in cooperation with The CoderSchool, this FULL DAY camp blends together an exciting morning building soccer skills, followed by an afternoon spent learning coding skills. The full experience runs from 9am-5pm!

Participants "Kick" off the day at Loudoun Soccer Park from 9 am-1 pm, and are then transported to The CoderSchool for an afternoon to "Code" the day away til 5 pm.

Spots are limited and fill up fast for this exciting all-day camp, so we strongly encourage early registration.

9:10am-10:30am Skill of the Day (dribbling, passing, shooting, etc.)

Intelligence
6-12 Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the bigger buzzwords today, and we're ready to help you
tackle it. What is AI? Why is it taking over the world? We'll start out talking about AI use cases, dive into
fundamental algorithms and create some basic AI apps.
Jul 31-Aug 4 Game Developer6-12We'll be using drag-n-drop languages in Scratch to create both new and classic games.
Aug 7-11 Robocode6-12Explore the world of robots in this introductory level camp. You'll get inside the robot brain, learn
how they work, and program and code a robot!

About Premier Rec Summer Camp

Designed to increase the challenge for our U8 Academy, Challenge, All Star and Classic players, our week-long Premier Rec camp gives our most motivated Rec players the opportunity to hone their goal scoring skills.

The Rec Premier Camp is designed to improve individual offensive skills to create scoring opportunities by focusing on:

  • Technical Skill Development – first touch, fast feet, dribbling, moves, turns, receiving (air and ground balls), 1v1s, 2v2s
  • Scoring Goals – creating scoring opportunities, recognizing goalkeeper vulnerabilities, finishing and ball striking, breakaways, finishing off the cross, driving vs placing the ball, rebounds, player runs, 1v1s

Each day ends with scrimmages, street soccer games, mini tournaments: all incorporating goalkeepers to provide players opportunities for creative play with the ball in a competitive environment.

Dates and space are limited for this exciting camp and we strongly encourage early registration.

About Summer Goalkeeper Academy

The Goalkeeper Academy is led by Dave Bucciero, Loudoun Soccer Director of Coaching-Goalkeeping. Dave brings a wealth of experience to this role. He previously served as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at American University, and is currently the Girls East Region U14 Olympic Development Program (ODP) Assistant Coach. Dave played collegiately at James Madison University, and holds a USSF A License and NSCAA Advanced Diploma. His staff includes former and current college players and coaches.

Players interested in participating in this program are encouraged to attend each week, as instruction from each week carries over and builds into the following week’s session. Attending stand-alone sessions is permitted but discouraged.

About Rec TDP

 

Loudoun Soccer is excited and proud to announce our Summer Rec TDP, outdoors on Monday nights at Loudoun Soccer Park!


This clinic is designed to further challenge our Recreation Players by giving them the opportunity to train at a higher level in a more competitive environment. This clinic is geared toward more developed and committed Recreational soccer players, and a great opportunity to learn and develop attacking and goal scoring skills.

The goal of this clinic is to improve individual attacking/ball mastery skills and create scoring opportunities by focusing on:

  • Technical Skill Development – first touch, fast feet, dribbling, moves, turns, receiving (air and ground balls), 1v1s, 2v2s
  • Scoring Goals – Creating scoring opportunities, recognizing goalkeeper vulnerabilities, finishing and ball striking, breakaways, finishing off the cross, driving vs placing the ball, rebounds, player runs, 1v1s

Each day will finish with scrimmages and fun games and exercises.
