About Adult Winter League
Loudoun Soccer’s Adult Winter League is designed to provide the county’s adult players the same safe and enjoyable soccer experience its youth players enjoy. The 7v7 playing format allows teams to form more easily (fewer players needed), and players to have more fun (smaller field = more touches on the ball).
The format, rules, affordable price and spirit of the league — “we all have to go to work tomorrow” — combine to create a great soccer atmosphere for Loudoun’s adult players.
REGISTRATION:
There are three ways to register for Adult League:
- Team Captain: Please register as a Team Captain if you have an existing team or are organizing a team and plan to be the Team Captain.
- Team Individual: Please register as an Individual if you have received an invitation from a Team Captain inviting you to their team.
- Free Agent: Please register as an Individual if you are not affiliated with a team and wish to be assigned to one by the Loudoun Soccer Adult League Program Manager. Registration fee is due upon team assignment; unassigned players will not be charged.
If you plan to join a set team, please wait to hear from your team captain as the season approaches. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. REGISTRATION ENDS JANUARY 1, 2024!
WINTER FEES:
$500 for a team
$50 for an individual player (payment is assessed upon team assignment; unassigned players will not be charged)
FORMAT:
The playing format for the Adult league is 7v7. Games will be played on 74×50 yard fields.

Divisions:
Men’s 30+: any player older than 30 or turning age 30 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
Co-Ed 30+: any player older than 30 or turning age 30 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
Men’s 46+: any player older than 46 or turning age 46 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
Men’s Open: any player older than 18 or turning age 18 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
Co-Ed Open: any player older than 18 or turning age 18 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
Men’s 40+: any player older than 40 or turning age 40 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
SCHEDULE:
Each league described above is assigned a night of the week for its games to be played, providing a consistent schedule for players to plan around. Season will consist of 4 regular season games. Post-season will consist of 1-2 playoff or consolation games, and is based on teams' seasonal ranking. Team schedules will be posted closer to the season.
