Rules and Saturday Sideline Behavior:
All rules from the regular season (playing time, goalkeeper rotation, etc.) will be enforced.
We have received more than the usual amount of emails this season with regard to lack of playing time. Please keep in mind that each player that is attending at least one practice deserves his or her 50% time.
Loudoun Soccer Staff will be out and about on Saturday keeping an eye on things. Make sure to say hello if you see one of us and let us know how things are going. No referee abuse will be tolerated.
Additionally: any games ending in a tie will proceed directly to Kicks from the Mark (penalty kicks) to declare a winner. No overtime periods will be played.
We have made a modification to the “on the field rule for PK”s” Normally a player must be on the field before the end of regulation in order to participate in Penalty Kicks. We are modifying this. After regulation if the score is tied, you will be given 2 minutes to select any 11 players that are present and, on your roster, to participate in the penalty kicks. This includes your goalkeeper
All other players must remain in the bench area.
Score Reporting:
The winning coach is responsible for getting the game card to the site official immediately following the game. If there is no site official, please text a photo of the game card to 703-431-8054. This number will be written on the back of the game card. Once the score is reported, we can update the online SportsConnect calendar with the next game.

Volunteer Coaches:
Enthusiastic and committed leaders are needed to oversee our Recreational teams on a seasonal basis (Fall and/or Spring), either as a Head Coach or as an Assistant Coach. While most of our volunteer coaches are parents coaching their child’s team, anyone can also volunteer to give back to the game and to their community. - Learn more here!
