LOUDOUN EAST

Loudoun East is pleased to launch their second season in the Loudoun Soccer Player Pathway.

Registration for tryouts for Sterling-based players will begin on March 26 with multiple tryout dates for each group; consult the schedule below for details. There is no charge to try out, but players must be registered to attend a tryout session.

ABOUT LOUDOUN EAST

Loudoun East makes Loudoun Soccer’s player pathway more accessible to families in Eastern Loudoun. The Deportivo Sterling program provides a welcoming starting point for recreational and early development play, creating a clear path into Loudoun East Travel as well as into the broader Loudoun Soccer and NVA system.

Led by experienced directors and a passionate, development-focused coaching staff, Loudoun East delivers the same curriculum, training environment, and standards available to all Loudoun Soccer families.

In its inaugural season, Loudoun East advanced eight players—boys and girls—into Loudoun and NVA GA and MLS NEXT programs, a strong reflection of the impact of the Loudoun East pathway.

26/27 Age Group Transition

In June 2025, US Youth Soccer announced changes to its age group classification system for the 2026/27 seasonal year.  Rather than the Jan 1-Dec 31 system previously in use, age group years will now be determined based on an August 1 - July 31  calendar.

To determine your player's age group for the 2026/27 seasonal year, consult the USYS Age Group Matrix calculator and choose the Aug 1-July 31 option.

2026/2027 TRYOUT SCHEDULE

Tryout sessions for U9-U15 boys and U10 girls will be held in late March and April.

There is no charge to register for 26/27 tryouts, but players MUST BE REGISTERED to attend. See the schedule below for details.

For the 2026/27 seasonal year, Loudoun East will form competitive boys teams at U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, and U15, and a competitive girls team at U10. These teams will compete in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).  Registration is required to try out for Loudoun East teams.
