HUNTER'S HEROES

The Hunter's Heroes Award celebrates the memory of Hunter Bohnenblust, a Loudoun Soccer Challenge player whose kind and compassionate nature brought joy to everyone around him.

The prize is awarded each Spring and Fall season to a Challenge player who expresses Hunter's caring spirit by lifting others up with empathy and inclusion--on and off the field.

At the request of his family, the “Hunter’s Heroes Fund" was established to provide additional support to players in our Financial Assistance program, helping ensure they have access to the equipment they need for the upcoming season. Each season, the fund disburses gift cards to Financial Assistance players in our Challenge program to provide soccer necessities such as cleats, shin guards, and apparel. Our first disbursement, in Spring 2026, provided gift cards to over 50 players!
