About Loudoun Soccer Travel Camps

The Loudoun Soccer Camps & Clinics System is built to provide youth players an opportunity to gain professional supplemental training from an introductory stage to the elite level of the game. Our programs follow our Core Values of Fun, Integrity, Fairness, Teamwork and Stewardship, using a curriculum that taps into players’ love and passion for the game.

College ID Camp

College ID Camp

The Loudoun Soccer College Identification Camp is for players that are interested in playing college soccer. Each player will have the opportunity to work with and be evaluated by multiple college coaches representing different colleges during the three days of camp (minimum 2 coaches per evening). The camp is limited to the first 28 players that register. Each evening will consist of two 50-minute training sessions and a 60-minute scrimmage. Goalkeeper training will be provided by college goalkeeper coaches. The College ID Camp is held every December - see below for information on the 2019 Camp.

In addition, players will have the opportunity to hear the coaches speak about different topics like recruiting, what the commitment is like during the season and off-season, academic standards, as well as question and answer sessions.

Players: Open to all male and female Loudoun and non-Loudoun players, ages 14-18
Dates: December 10-12 (see below for coaches attending each day)
Times: 6:30pm-9:30pm
Location: Loudoun Soccer Park
Fees: $300 (Camp fees may not be pro rated and are not refundable.)

Winter EDP

Winter Elite Development Program

Program purpose:

  • Winter training program for the elite player – boys and girls
  • 9U-15U age groups
  • Training held Indoors at the Campus
  • All training held on turf
  • Program is open to elite players inside and outside of Loudoun Soccer Club.
  • Sessions designed to provide elite players an environment to develop over the Winter
  • Work with some of Loudoun’s top coaches
  • Each participant will receive an EDP training t-shirt

This exciting program is specifically created to help improve individual skills and self-confidence on the ball. Our program is designed to challenge players to improve in a competitive, intensive environment.

Players will have 8 weeks (8 sessions) of repetition and technical training sessions focused on mastering specific ball skills. The curriculum, created by Loudoun Soccer's technical staff is formulated to maximize each 90 minute session by breaking the sessions into the following 3 phases:

  • Speed and Conditioning/Physical Performance
  • Ball mastery and Technical skill repetition
  • Shooting/Small sided games

Dates: January 8, 15, 22, 29, February  5, 12, 19, 26
Location: The Campus


  • 5pm-6:30pm – Birth Year 2008-2011
  • 6:30pm-8:00pm- Birth Year 2004-2007

***Players will be grouped by skills level, age, and gender

PLEASE NOTE: Loudoun Soccer will place all players into groups and times. There are no special requests for certain practice times or groups.

The Elite camps are part of a comprehensive overall Loudoun Soccer training program that will provide supplemental training opportunities for all players from inside and outside our Club.

Winter Goalkeeper Academy

Winter Goalkeeper Academy

Travel Players Born 2003-2011

Our Director of Goalkeeping, Dave Bucciero, is heading up our Winter GK Academy series. Dave brings a wealth of experience to this role. He is the former Head Coach at American University and current Girls East Region U14 ODP Assistant Coach. Prior to becoming the Head Coach at American University, Dave was the Goalkeeper Coach at Boston University and Texas Tech University. Dave has the highest level of coaching certification in the country, the USSF A License.

As always, goalkeepers will be assessed and moved within the Academy to best serve their development. Please Note: Winter GK Academy is an optional program not covered by Loudoun Soccer Club fees. Fees may not be prorated and are not refundable.

Winter Speed, Agility & Strength Training

Travel Winter Speed, Agility & Strength Training

Loudoun Soccer is proud to offer a Speed, Agility & Strength training program this winter for individuals interested in improving their on-field performance through increased athleticism. The winter program will focus on proper movement form and technique, quick footwork, and power and acceleration, while introducing training techniques and practices athletes can use as the foundation for strength training.

Sessions are led by Scott Shoemaker, Loudoun Soccer Director of Sports Performance

Winter 2020 Speed, Agility & Strength Training

The program is 8 sessions (once per week) on Saturdays.

Ages and Times: 

This program is only for current Loudoun Soccer Travel/ECNL players.

Boys and Girls, 2001-2010 birth years

3-4 PM: 2008-2010 birth years

4-5 PM: 2001-2007 birth years

Registration deadline: Friday December 20, 2019. Registration is a first come, first served basis, and is limited to ensure a manageable instructor-to-player ratio.

Registering is easy!  Families may register their child for Winter Speed, Agility & Strength program when by selecting it within the available menu after logging into their user account.

What to Wear/Bring:

  • Athletic clothing
  • Flat soled shoes (gym shoes, etc.)
  • Plenty of Water
