For players born between 2001-2011

Loudoun Soccer’s Travel soccer program provides local talent with an opportunity to play soccer year-round at a competitive level. Players in the Travel program are challenged among their peers with ample opportunities for growth and development, including pathways to our Boys and Girls Elite Clubs National League teams. Travel Tryouts are assessment opportunities used by Loudoun Soccer coaches to identify players for their teams in May of each year. These are open applications with mandatory online registration, and players are encouraged to attend all tryouts for their age group.

Loudoun Soccer will field Travel teams for players born between and including the years 2001-2011 for the 2019/20 season. Please see below for information on the coming Travel Tryouts and any Supplemental Tryouts being held after the tryout period. Players must register in advance.

General Registration Information

  • Each candidate is encouraged to attend all tryouts for their age group (see age group chart).
  • Based on US Soccer’s Player Development Initiatives, all players will register for their birth year tryout age group ONLY. There is a process in place internally for players to potentially try out to play up an age group if it is deemed best for that player’s overall development. All decisions will be reviewed by the Technical Director, Travel Director, coaches, and parents before approving this option.
  • If unable to attend a tryout please email [email protected] and/or your Age Group Head Coach prior to your age group’s tryout.
  • Online pre-registration is mandatory. There is no cost to tryout.
  • Bring the following to each tryout: Ball, shin guards and water.
  • Coaches from the Travel program will be involved in the evaluation process.
  • Players should arrive for check-in 30 mins prior to the first tryout they attend to confirm attendance and pick up a numbered t-shirt. Players are not required to check-in at any other tryout sessions after their first, but should arrive to the field 30 mins early.
  • All Loudoun Soccer players must purchase the mandatory Loudoun Soccer uniform items.
