K-2 Junior Development Program (JDP)

Junior Development Program

Loudoun Soccer is pleased to announce the launch of its Junior Development Program (JDP) for Fall 2019.  JDP is a supplemental program for recreation players in the following grades:

  • Kindergarten
  • 1st Grade
  • 2nd Grade

The program meets on Mondays during the Fall and Spring season, as a supplement to a child’s once-per-week team training session on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

It is designed to teach and improve a child’s creativity and comfort level with the ball. Training sessions are organized by gender, and all sessions are led by professional youth soccer coaches.

Sessions are offered in all six Towns of Play: Ashburn, Brambleton, Leesburg, Purcellville, South Riding, and Sterling.

Players are expected to arrive 10 minutes before each session. Volunteer Recreational coaches are encouraged to attend to observe the skills and activities to use with their own teams.

Cost per player: $95 for five training sessions. Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register their child as soon as possible.
