Leesburg, VA – Loudoun Soccer’s Director of Goalkeeping John O’Hara has been selected to join the Under-18 Boys National Team camp in Sweden this month for the teams upcoming participation in the 2015 Open Nordic Cup Tournament.

The Under-18 BNT has begun a several week camp in Sweden with a 20-man roster and will participate in the 2015 Open Nordic Cup Tournament during their stay. The team will face the Faroe Islands (Aug 4), Iceland (Aug 5), and Sweden (Aug 7).

Coach O’Hara is already familiar with the National youth team set-up, having been called to coach the goalkeepers earlier this year for the Under-15 BNT.

“We are proud of John and extend our congratulations to him on his call into the Under-18 camp”, said Darryl Gee, Technical Director of Loudoun Soccer. “We are excited that he has been presented with this opportunity and look forward to his representation of our club within the U.S. Soccer landscape.”

John currently coaches the ’99 and ’97 Red teams at Loudoun Soccer. He also serves as the Director of Goalkeeping for the club and is the Goalkeeping coach at George Mason University.
