COACH’S BIOGRAPHIES

 

 

Darryl Gee:  Darryl Gee is the Director of Coaching for LYSA as well as the Director of The Darryl Gee Soccer Academy, Inc.  He has earned National recognition both as a player and a coach, playing with the New York Cosmos, Los Angeles Lazers and the 1990 A.P.S.L. Champion Maryland Bays. Darryl was also captain of the U.S. Youth National teams and a member of both the Olympic Team and the National team. Darryl holds a USSF 'A' License. Darryl is also the former coach of the Maryland Mania professional soccer team.

 

Evans Mayli: - Evans played at the University of Maryland before joining the Washington Mustangs, a professional USISL team. He also played for AC Helles winning 6 consecutive league titles and advancing to the Regional final of the 1999 National Amateur Cup. Evans holds a USSF 'C' License and is a member of the NSCAA. He is currently Head Coach for DC Stoddert U14 Girls and U9 Boys.

 

Keith Neale: - Keith played high school soccer at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, MD where he was a four year starter. He was also a member of the Columbia Kick, which won the U16 USYSA National Championships. He was a four-year starter at the University of Charleston in West Virginia and was a NAIA all conference player. Keith is currently Head Coach for the Potomac Cougars U13 Boys team.

 

Roberto Parada: - Born in Columbia, South America.  Roberto played for the Youth System of Millonario, one of the most famous soccer schools in the world.  He also played professionally in Venezuela for the Porto Gasa Team.  Coaches in the area for developmental and select team programs, holds a USSF coaching license.  He also coaches Southlake High School in Reston, Virginia.

 

Sara Wetmore: - Sara is a USSF qualified coach and is coaching select and developmental for LYSA.  She played locally for Loudoun Valley high school and is a former camper turned coach. She attended WVU where she was a four-year starter.
