Loudoun Soccer proudly announces its inaugural Coaching School of Excellence, a continuing education program for coaches in the Recreational and Travel programs. The program kicks off in Fall 2014.
The program consists of seven required monthly sessions on Monday evenings consisting of interactive classroom lectures and discussions, on-field demonstrations and evaluations. This program is designed for coaches of all levels of experience who possess the desire to improve their knowledge of the game and teaching abilities.
“I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to implement a program like this,” said Dave Scruggs. “It is the first of its kind in Northern Virginia and gives us a platform for producing quality coaches which ultimately improves our players at all levels of play.”
The program is FREE to all registered coaches; however, interested candidates must apply and be selected in order to participate, and those selected are expected to attend each monthly session. The Loudoun Soccer Technical Staff developed the curriculum, and the program is directed by Dave Scruggs, Loudoun Soccer Director of Coaching Education.
