Striker Academy (Optional Program)
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED: PROGRAM IS FULL.
Striker Academy is designed to give players more experience around the goal and to help players gain the tools necessary to be effective as individual and partnered strikers. This 7 week program focuses on the fundamental technical and tactical aspects of being a goal scorer.  Technical areas of focus include proper ball striking, shooting for power and accuracy, creative dribbling around goal, and making space to shoot. Tactical areas of focus include making proper runs, playing with your back to goal, and linking up with teammates.

The Striker Academy will evolve and adapt to challenge players as they advance and strive for a higher level of training. The instructors for the Striker Academy will be Maurice Hughes , Grant Smith and Ivan Sampson. All have many years of experience and have been involved in the Striker Academy in previous seasons.  The staff will push players to improve all aspects of goal scoring in a fun, competitive, and high paced environment.  We expect it to be another great season for our players in Striker Academy.
