Fall Jamboree

Welcome to the U7/U8 Jamboree Fall 2013!!

Loudoun Soccer is proud to announce details of our seasonal U7/U8 Jamboree, scheduled for Saturday November 2 at Loudoun Soccer Park in Leesburg.  It promises to be a day full of fun, friends and SOCCER!  Below are a few notes on what you can expect when your child participates in the Jamboree.

The U7/U8 Jamboree is a one day festival in Leesburg, specifically designed for younger children.  Games will be played on high quality turf fields at Loudoun Soccer Park; games will be played rain or shine!  This is a festival-style event and not a tournament – all players will receive a participation award, and no standings or scores will be published.  Each team will play one (1) game.

Games are tightly scheduled throughout the day.  To ensure all games starting on time, please adhere to the following:

  1. Coaches and players MUST arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to your kickoff time.
  2. Teams should exit the field immediately after their game to allow for the next teams to take the field.

To help foster a fun festival atmosphere, several activities (such as balloon art, face painting and the popular "Spin the Prize Wheel) will be on site; these activities are free of charge.  All participants (players, siblings, guests, etc) must abide by the safety rules of each activity.

AND we will have two great Food Trucks that will be on site, the Roaming Rotisserie with lots of yummy roasted chicken, salads and chicken tenders and Freckles Mobile Dessert Diner with sweet treats!

As well as
, Loudoun Soccer Park’s concession stand will be open with Pizza, Snacks, Ice Cream, Snow Cones, Water, Soda, and Gatorade available for purchase.

During the Jamboree we will be participating in a very special collection. Help us as we try to fill a Dodge Ram Pickup Truck with new or gently used kids coats in support of the Salvation Army Coats for Kids program.  Dulles Motorcars will be providing the truck and we hope we can reach the goal of filling it up during the Jamboree.  For more info. Please be careful when driving through the parking lots, and obey the “no parking” signs.  Allow extra time to find a parking space, and be mindful of our little players who may be darting out and around the lots.

Loudoun Soccer Park has an upper and a lower lot. Fields are accessible from both lots. There is also overflow parking in the VDOT commuter Park and Ride lot next door. Lastly, no dogs (regardless of size) are allowed at the Park.

An on-site Information Desk will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have that day.

We are very excited about this season’s event; we want to make it a memorable day to close your child’s Fall soccer season.  Over 1000 players will participate in this event!  The Jamboree requires the help of many volunteers – please give a smile to them when you see them, for without them this great day would not be possible.

See you on the fields!
