Loudoun Soccer Welcomes =PR= Performance Sports as its Official Uniform Supplier of the Adult League
Loudoun Soccer is pleased to name =PR= Performance Sports (Potomac River Running's Ashburn location which offers soccer and running equipment) as its official Adult League Uniform Supplier.
=PR= Performance Sports is a family-owned, locally based soccer and running specialty store in Ashburn, VA. =PR= opened in the Spring of 2003 with the goal of sharing the local owners' passion for an active lifestyle with the community. In the beginning, =PR= offered running and walking footwear and equipment exclusively, providing individualized fittings with expert, highly trained staff. Since opening in Ashburn nearly a decade ago, the company added a Leesburg location devoted exclusively to running, and restructured its Ashburn store to focus more on soccer. =PR= extended that same approach including personalized fittings and service to meet the needs of Loudoun County’s many soccer players, both youth and adult.

Overview: Loudoun Soccer's new Adult League is designed to provide the county's adult players the same safe and enjoyable soccer experience its youth players receive. The 7v7 playing format allows teams to form more easily (fewer players needed), players to compete more easily (less running) and players to have more fun on the field (more touches on the ball).
The format, rules, affordable price (Spring 2013 fee of just $725!) and spirit of the league -- "we all have to go to work tomorrow" -- will create a great soccer experience for Loudoun's adult players.
Playing Format:
The playing format for the Adult league is 7v7. Games will be played on 74x50 yard fields.
The following leagues will be offered in the Spring 2013 season:
- Mens Open: the most competitive option available for men. The league is open for players age 18 and older.
- Mens 30+: any player older than 30 or turning age 30 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
- Men's 40+: any player older than 40 or turning age 40 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
- Womens Open: the most competitive option available for women. The league is open for players age 18 and older.
- Co-Ed Open: the most competitive option available in Co-Ed (men and women). The league is open for players age 18 and older.
- Co-Ed 30+: any player older than 30 or turning age 30 between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year is eligible to participate.
Schedule:
Each league described above is assigned a night of the week for its games to be played, providing a consistent schedule for players to plan around. Season will consist of 7 games and an end of season playoff (one game).
League Nights:
Games on weeknights (Monday-Friday) will be played at 9:05 PM and 10:10 PM. All games are 50 minutes (two, 25-minute halves).
Individual Players:
Individual players may register for a House team - only $85 per player (includes a numbered t-shirt). House teams are formed by Loudoun Soccer by placing individual players together. Players may request to play with specific individuals who also register for a House team.
Individual players may also join a "Free Agent" list which will be published on this page; captains of teams looking to add players may use this list to contact interested players.
Individuals without a team have a better chance of playing by registering for a House team than by joining the "Free Agent" list.
