Challenge/SFL Program U11-U12

The U11-U12 Challenge/SFL division is a recreational program. The Challenge/SFL league is intended for those children more seriously focused on soccer, and for players (and parents) who are willing to make a stronger commitment to prioritizing development above the social aspects of youth soccer. This program is not recommended for the new soccer player.

Each new player must attend one evaluation per year in order to be placed on a Challenge division team.  The purpose of the evaluation session is to assess player abilities so that balanced teams can be formed. The Challenge division will only be an option for players who register by the deadline because the evaluation sessions start very soon after that date. The Recreation division will still be available for players who sign up after that date (until all teams are full).

Challenge/SFL teams participate in the Suburban Friendship League. This is a third party league that schedules games with teams from Northern Virginia soccer clubs including Loudoun Soccer. There is travel required in this program that is Northern Virginia based.

 

All players must have jerseys with unique numbers corresponding to team rosters. 

Red Jersey is HOME and White Jersey is AWAY. When you play a Loudoun/Loudoun game, the home team wears RED and the away team wears WHITE. When outside of Loudoun, please confirm with your opponent on jersey color during the pre-game call/email. 

Loudoun Soccer coaches must abide by the Loudoun Soccer Team Uniform Policy in order to maintain uniform standards and minimize costs for team parents.
