 College Placement Presentation Info Minimize

College Placement presentation was held on Monday, January 30 at Heritage HS which featured Tim Lucas, Director of Guidance from Stone Bridge HS, Eddie Pope, former playing member for US National Team and DC United, Mark Ryan, Director of Travel, John Ohara, Men's Assistant Coach George Mason and Randy May, Director of College Placement, who covered many topics pertaining to the college process. The presentation provided insights, ideas and a college plan to follow for those seeking to play in college at the Division I, II or III levels. student-athletes on a college track who may look to play club soccer or for those who are seeking the best college option for themselves.

The presentation had over 150 people in attendance with 75 student-athletes from 13 different Loudoun teams.  The presentation and the power points will be up on the College Placement website by the beginning of next week.  Check out the 9-12 grade High School check list along with the NCAA Eligibility information from the College Placement website which supported the presentation. 

In addition, you will find a new link on the College Placement site for Financial Aid.  There two links one for a free Financial Aid service to help families with the FAFSA process as well as a link discussing the Financial Aid packages and programs set up by the colleges or universities.  Special thanks to Tim Lucas from Stone Bridge who provided the club the links.

An extensive overview on how to go about the college process for each student's year in high school.  The information should prove helpful and insightful for the parents and students as they go about preparing for college.

There are several folders:
  • college manual and the supporting folder to help the families preparing for college; timelines for applications, college visits, SAT/ACT testing.
  • NCAA folders which include the NCAA manual, worksheets and NCAA academic requirements.
